Hamida Barmaki Organization for the Rule of Law (HBORL) with the close cooperation of Cordaid and with the financial support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Netherlands conducted a 6 days legal awareness training program for Kabul based youths job seekers.
The purpose of this training is to raise awareness of Commercial law, labor law and taxation law to the youths, as a part of their job readiness Program.
This training was conducted for 60 young job seekers in two batches from 03 September to 12 September 2018, at HBORL main office and the main subjects of training were focusing on commercial law (business transactions, threats, and challenges related to entrepreneurs, governmental entities and their role in Afghan commerce), taxation law (common mistakes in tax calculation, tax exemptions, tax violations and punishments) and Labor law (employment contracts, job related disputes and resolutions, suspension and termination of employment contracts).
Apart from the above topics, the participants were also briefed on how to cope up with conflicts and how to resolve disputes in an organization. Various case studies related to each topic were also put into discussion during the training.
